Recovering from Covid19...

The world has seen a sea of changes in the past two years. No one imagined such a horrifying disease turning the world upside down. Millions of people worldwide were affected by the virus. People lost lives across different countries, and the most developed and robust governments realized they could not handle the crisis. The disease had hit badly, affecting nations health,
agriculture, economy; everything went for a toss. The pandemic breakout left us numb initially, but gradually we were able to fight it out with medication, vaccines and proper information. Many infected with Sars Covid 19 are still recovering from its effects.

Long Covid – the after-effects of Corona

People have experienced specific problems even after recovering from the Coronavirus. One may call it Long Covid, and these long term covid conditions are the after-effects or long–term effects of Covid19.

Even after recovering from corona, people have reported common difficulties like difficulty breathing, fatigue, concentration problems, chest/stomach/headache, muscle-joint pains, sleeping problems, fever, rashes, mood changes, taste/smell, etc.

1. Shortness of breath / Difficulty in breathing – Some people might be experiencing difficulty in breathing even after recovering from Coronavirus. One must make it a habit to do simple breathing exercises daily.

2. DR2HEALTH experts mention that people have been experiencing organ damage or organ malfunction post corona like heart complications, kidney impairment or even paralysis.

3. Hospitalization and less physical activity may result in fatigue and easy tiredness from even small physical activities, and this may take a longer time for one to recover.

4. Covid 19 has affected blood cells to form clumps. As a result, Blood clots can weaken other body parts such as the legs, liver, lungs and kidneys.

5. Depression, mood swings and mental imbalance – Since the disease had hit us both health-wise and financially, making us live in isolation and other changes out of imagination, many people would have recovered physically but were impacted mentally by the effects.

If one is experiencing anxiety or any other social or mental stigma, you can get in touch for counselling and talk sessions with DRS2HEALTH.
